David Winton Bell Gallery at Brown University
The Gallery presents six to eight major exhibitions each academic year. Special emphasis is given to the display and elucidation of contemporary art in all media. In addition to its exhibition program, the Gallery maintains a permanent collection of more than 4,000 works of art encompassing the period from the sixteenth century to the present. The collection is particularly rich in contemporary art and works on paper. Included are significant prints and drawings by Rembrandt, Tiepolo, Goya, Daumier, Piccasso, and Matisse, as well as major works by Frank Stella, Lee Bontecou, Anthony Caro, Diego Rivera, Alice Neel, Richard Serra, and Joseph Cornell. The extensive photography collection includes strong holdings by Walker Evans, Aaron Siskind, Harry Callahan, and Larry Clark, among others.

Edward Mitchell Bannister Gallery/Rhode Island College
Since November 1978, the E. M. Bannister Gallery at Rhode Island College has been in continuous operation in presenting a yearly calendar of 8 - 10 exhibitions of contemporary art by local, regional, and internationally renowned artists. The gallery has presented artworks in all the spectrum of traditional media, as well as more contemporary site specific, electronic, and video projects.

Rhode Island School of Design Museum
The RISD Museum houses over 80,000 works of art, ranging from ancient Greek and Roman sculpture to French Impressionist paintings, from Chinese stone and terracotta sculpture to contemporary art in every medium, including textiles, ceramics, glass and furniture. It also serves the general public with a full schedule of special exhibitions, lectures, tours, concerts and other programs. The Museum’s collection is displayed in 45 galleries on three floors, tracing the history of art from antiquity to the 21st century.
