Middlebury College Museum of Art
The Museum’s collection of several thousand objects ranges from antiquities through contemporary art, with an emphasis on photography, nineteenth-century European and American sculpture, and contemporary prints. A survey of objects from the permanent collection is always on view, with separate galleries devoted exclusively to the seventeenth through nineteenth centuries. The Christian A. Johnson Memorial Gallery, on the second floor of the Museum, houses changing exhibitions throughout the year. Made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Museum and other institutions, these exhibitions highlight the artistic achievements of cultures and artists not represented in the Museum's permanent collection.

Robert Paul Galleries
The gallery features extremely photo-realistic still life and landscape oil paintings reminiscent of the Old Dutch Masters, to figurative paintings in an impressionistic realism style, to richly colored Monet inspired impressionistic gardens. Tight watercolors, black and white local photography, a brilliant Pop artist, and sculpture ranging from classical realism to contemporary with an amusing twist add to our Gallery's uniqueness.
